this blog / account is explicitly DEAD DOVE in nature, dead dove being a catch-all term for containing content that may not be suitable for most viewers. i try to outline all of the material in question but honestly, there are quite a few dark themes that i enjoy exploring with my character and i will not allow anyone to take this from me. feel free to block me and not make a huge fuss about the fact that i enjoy writing about the macabre, disturbing, and especially taboo.

though i enjoy tackling dark themes, this doesn't mean i'm completely limitless in my degeneracy. i don't enjoy bestiality, pregnancy, underage characters or MUSES who pursue sexual acts with underage characters, the fetishization of marginalized groups in a hateful manner (i.e orientation play, raceplay, etc), and outlandish or unclean fetishes such as inflation or scat.

a timid and somewhat dorky girl with a sheltered background, the daughter of a comic book artist and a world-renowned allergist. odori is described by her parents as a smart girl with a good head on her shoulders, as well as hardworking, while her heroic peers would refer to her as having the "personality of a wet paper towel".

born to one guromi kadokawa and one toshiro kadokawa, odori was born both physically frail and intersex.her parents agreed to raise the child as a son until he could start choosing his own way in life. by the age of two, the two clearly noted that their child had interests in the conventionally feminine and adjusted their course of addressing odori accordingly.she seemed to particularly enjoy dolls and dress up during the course of her visits to the hospital or her downtimes of rest at home.
her mother was a renowned immunologist,known for her breakthroughs in allergen medication studies. her inspiration was mainly her daughter’s sickly disposition, wanting to ail her as well as other suffering children of their woes that are often underlooked and downplayed for the sake of convenience.odori was her child, yes, but also found herself playing guinea pig for her mother under the unknowing nose of her father, an independent comic book artist.most treatments were fruitless, and many strange and even unorthodox methods were used- alongside the usual mildly traumatic issues that stem from being an asian-american citizen, including a push for academic greatness despite the setbacks that she had with her physical health.intellectual pursuits, hobbies that pushed her beyond her physical capacities (ballet, swimming, fencing, equestrian, etc) and the insistence of enforced gender roles despite her parents being much more lax about the idea of pushing odori to be wed and bring children (mainly due to a very apparent misunderstanding of her intersex identity).things went relatively quiet in her admittedly busy upbringing, until her 16th birthday came around and her mother had forgotten. her “gift” to odori was an intense focus on her severe allergies to bees, which an early childhood hospitalization from a bee sting left the poor girl mildly afraid of being outdoors during the springtime (to which, depending on what sport she was being forced to participate in during the season, she’d be out there regardless of her phobia).the plan was somewhat ludicrous- surely the technology to achieve a successful dna splicing of a human teenaged girl and the humble honeybee, no? well, not publicly- which is why this was the perfect opportunity to test out the process without allowing outsiders and those with no direct connections to the company know about such technology.was the process painful? not initially, until the side effects started showing later on during the course of odori’s birthday, and the horror that ensued when wings, a bee abdomen, and antennae sprouted out of her body in a macabre display of human-insectoid body horror in front of her family.a medication was administered in an epipen-like device to keep the transformation into a full on bee at bay, but the current state of her body was something that couldn’t be undone.odori spent a long time without seeing anyone after that, mostly indulging her interests and finishing her schooling from the confines of her room- until the gda caught wind of a potential hero in the making, and essentially relocated odori and her father to virginia for testing and training. her mother, however, was arrested for performing experiments without government regulation, as well as several other human rights violations found within her organization.for once, her illnesses and general timid nature didn’t hold her back from meeting people like herself, and with guidance form the gda and through the inspiration of people like invincible and her own father, odori decided she'd use this opportunity to help those in need.odori and her father put their heads together to come up with names, outfit ideas, and eventually a new heroine debuted in the streets- qt-bee.
